Cleco awards Eunice Community Health Center $10,000

PINEVILLE, — – Cleco awarded Eunice Community Health Center $10,000 in its efforts to provide quality health care to those within a 60-mile radius of Eunice.
“Cleco is a proud to be a part of the good work the Eunice Community Health Center is doing,” said Bill Fontenot, interim Cleco Power CEO about the donation presented Wednesday. “We believe that healthy people lead to healthier communities.”
Cleco funds will help Eunice Community Health Center offer free or low-cost options for the following:
— Health care.
— Free pharmacy.
— Low-cost lab work.
— TDAP and flu shots.
— Mammograms.
— Support When It Matters Most (SWIMM) which provides assistance during and after a disaster
“We are thankful for Cleco’s generous donation. It will help us expand and enhance our existing programs,” said Yancy Fontenot, Eunice Community Health Center’s executive director. “Cleco’s contribution will help us bridge the gap for unemployed, uninsured, under-insured, high deductibles and increased premiums.”
