The $575,000 project on La. 367 (Bayou Mallet Highway) from La. 370 (Richard School Road) to U.S. 190 in Acadia and St. Landry parishes will last until April, according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.
The project had been intended to be complete in March.
The work is estimated to take place daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.
There will be intermittent lane closures for asphalt concrete pavement patching and thin lift asphalt concrete overlay.
The road will be open to regular traffic with a 12-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone.
La. 13 may be used as an alternate route.
The project will include milling asphalt pavement, pavement patching, thin asphalt concrete overlay, and related work.
