Maple Avenue repaving delayed but not for long

Railroad crossing to be closed Friday

The railroad crossing on La. 13, 0.4 miles north of U.S. 190, in St. Landry Parish will be closed for railroad replacement at 6 a.m. Friday until Saturday, weather permitting. The detour will consist of La. 29, U.S. 190 and La. 758. Emergency vehicles will not have access through the area.

Eunice road closed for repairs

Effective immediately, La. 91 between 3rd and 4th streets in Eunice will be closed until further notice for emergency repairs, according to the state Department of Transportation and Development. The detour will be La. 13, U.S. 190 and La. 757.

Construction on La. 367 extended

The $575,000 project on La. 367 (Bayou Mallet Highway) from La. 370 (Richard School Road) to U.S. 190 in Acadia and St. Landry parishes will last until April, according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development. The project had been intended to be complete in March.
