DOTD announces Acadia Parish project

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announced that 16 projects around the state were recently bid upon. Thirteen contractors presented apparent low bids totaling $29.1 million.
“This letting starts several much-needed overlay projects around the state,” said DOTD Secretary Shawn D. Wilson, Ph.D. “We’re also thrilled to continue implementing various measures to keep our motorists safe, most notably flashing yellow arrows throughout the Baton Rouge region.”
The projects and their apparent low bids inlcude:
Milling, patching, overlay, and drainage on LA 754 between LA 95 and St. Landry Parish line in Acadia Parish: $1,524,968.13
