Eunice Junior High School subjected to bomb hoax

A bomb threat was received by text message to an assistant principal at Eunice Junior High School at 5:40 a.m. Wednesday that proved to be a hoax, according to Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot.
The the building was cleared by 6:40 a.m. before the building opened.
Police were unable to track the message, he said.
