New CEO set to start at Acadian Medical. James P. “Butch” Frasier, III is the new chief executive officer at Acadian Medical Center. He was most recently CEO of Jamestown, Tenn., Regional Medical Center.
Library grand prize winner named. The Eunice Public Library held its awards program on July 26 with many activities, awards and door prizes given to reading participants. A grand prize of $50 Walmart gift card was given to Keri Fuselier, 8, a third grade student at St. Edmund Elementary, and daughter of Shelly and Jacob Fuselier.
Couple celebrates 50th wedding anniversary. Albert and Phoebe Coker of Eunice celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. The couple renewed their wedding vows with Deacon David Guillory officiating. The couple were married on March 15, 1957.
Library receives Walmart grant. A Walmart grant of $750 was presented to the Eunice Public Library. From left are Robert Gaspard, Walmart manager; Walter Stubbs, administrative librarian; and Stephanie Guillory, branch manager at the library. The library plans to use the money towards library materials and supplies.
Water does a body good. Keeping hydrated is an important aspect of summer sports and workouts. Players should make sure to drink 15 to 20 ounces of fluids every 15 to 20 minutes, to avoid the risks of dehydration.
