St. Edmund outperforms Trojans for 49-7 win. Inexperienced East Beauregard squad falls to Blue Jays on both sides of the ball. St. Edmund quarterback Wesley Richard threw four touchdown passes in Friday’s game against the East Beauregard Trojans.
Fei Ou, a student at Eunice High School, signs a petition supporting Michael Nassif as superintendent of St. Landry Parish schools. Tammy Stanford of Glendale Elementary was among teachers circulating petitions this week endorsing Nassif.

New teacher at East Elementary. East Elementary welcomes Erica Lyons to their teaching staff. Lyons teaches kindergarten and is a first year teacher. She graduated from UL of Lafayette and is married to Brett Lyons of Eunice. The couple has two boys.

AMC Pink Lady of the Month selected. Caroline Hodge received Pink Lady of the Month during Pink Lady Auxiliary meeting held on Sept. 5.
Eunice High School chooses Homecoming Court. Eunice High named its 2007 Homecoming Court. The EHS homecoming maids are Amy Cesar, Martekia Sparks, Keristian Edwards, Abby LaCombe, and Corine Johnson.
