Randy Moreau, of Eunice Career and Technical Education Center, won the high school level Outstanding School Support Employee of the Year award.
The award, along with other support personnel honors, were announced at Thursday’s St. Landry Parish School Board meeting in Opelousas.
Lisa Fuselier, the center’s facilitator, said, Randy has been in the school forever. He meets the kids the first thing in the morning when he picks them up at Eunice High.”
After transporting the students to the center, Moreau does custodial work.
“He does everything and if anybody knows like a secretary, your custodian at our school knows everything,” she said.
“If a kid leaves our campus and has had a bad day they feel comfortable enough to have conservation with him,” she said.
All of the support people here congratulations to you because i know you make an impact on every child’s life that you see every day,” Fuselier said.
