A single-vehicle motorcycle crash killed a man from New Iberia on Friday.
Shortly before 6:30 a.m., troopers assigned to Louisiana State Police Troop I responded to the crash on Interstate 49 north near the Sunset exit.
The preliminary investigation revealed a 2008 Harley Davidson, driven by 44-year-old Duel Judice of New Iberia, was traveling north on Interstate 10. For unknown reasons, the motorcycle ran off of the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch. Judice, who was wearing a DOT approved helmet, was ejected.
