St. Landry Chamber Board members named

The St. Landry Chamber of Commerce announced its 2018 Board of Directors recently.
Executive Committee members are Angela Cassimere, chairwoman; Ken Cochran, 2019 chairman-elect; and Loren Carriere, 2017 chairman.
Vice chairmen are:
Bill Rodier, area and economic development. Term expires Dec. 31. Rodier is St. Landry Economic Development director.
Patrick Jenkins, education. Term expires Dec. 31. Jenkins is St. Landry Parish School Board superintendent.
Thurman Johnson, government affairs. Term expires Dec. 31. Johnson is co-owner of Arpeggios Lounge and Event Center.
Ashley Hargroder, membership development. term expires Dec. 31, 2020. Hargroder is vice president and loan officer at Washington State Bank.
Deanna Lejeune, medical affairs. Term expires Dec. 31. Lejeune is community liaison at Opelousas General Health System.
Celeste Gomez, media and tourism. Term expires Dec. 31. Gomez is executive director of the St. Landry Parish Tourist Commission.
Kip Bertrand, financial. Term expires Dec. 31, 2019. Bertrand is CEO of St. Landry Homestead.
Raquel Manuel, president and CEO of the St. Landry Chamber of Commerce.
Serving three-year elected and one-year appointed terms on the Board are: Johnny Carriere, executive director of The Refinery Mission, term expires Dec. 31, 2020; Wayne Phillips, marketing and governmental affairs supervisor at Slemco, term expires Dec. 31, 2020; Denise Cannatella, Cannatella Outdoor Farms, term expires Dec. 31; Bruce Gaudin, partner, Law Offices of Bruce Gauden, term expires dec. 31; and Sabrina Salling, community liaison at Cleco, term expires Dec. 31.
