Vallare announces candidacy for Ward 2 alderwoman

Jackie “JuJu" Vallare has announced her candidacy for the Eunice Ward 2 Board of Aldermen’s seat in the Nov. 6 election.
Her announcement includes the following.
Vallare is the daughter of Myrtle Neville and the late Wesley Neville, wife of Phillip Vallare Sr. She is a sister, mother, mother in law and grandmother.
In city government, I have focused on the beautification of Eunice and Ward 2 and served as a board member for Keep Eunice Beautiful for the last five years. While in that position I chose to pick up litter from the city streets and parks.
— An active member of the New Zion Baptist Church for over 51 years.
— Chairlady for Dr. MLK city wide committee.
— Under my leadership, over $10,000 in scholarships given.
— Chairlady of Leaders Building Leaders.
— Member of the Chat-A-While social and civic club.
— 27 years as a public servant.
