Voter registration deadline is Saturday

Cheryl Milburn, St. Landry Parish registrar of voters, announced the deadline to register to vote online (geauxvote.com) for the Dec. 5 election is Saturday.
The deadline to request a mail ballot is Dec. 1 for all voters except military, overseas and hospitalized voters. Mail ballots must have a witness that signs the affidavit with their enclosed ballot.
Early voting begins Nov. 20 to 28. The office will be closed for Thanksgiving and Acadian Day, Nov. 27. Office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Early voting locations: Courthouse, 118 S. Court St., Suite 114; and Eunice City Hall, 300 S. Second St., Eunice.
