St. Landry Parish sales tax revenue up over last year

Total sales tax collection in St. Landry Parish through September were up 12.8% over the same period in 2002, according to the monthly report released by St. Landry Parish School Board sales tax division. In August, the year-to-date collections in the parish were up by 1.3%.

Eunice Manor Nursing Home is celebrating success. Nickie Toups, administrator at Eunice Manor, learned Friday in an email that Eunice Manor has been recognized on the 2022 list of America’s Best Nursing Homes by Newsweek’s America’s Best Nursing Homes.

EUNICE-With heavy hearts the family of Gladys Goodley Ross announces her passing on October 4, 2021, at Eunice Manor at the age of 94. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time. Gladys was very active in her church and community.
