Parish Council, School Board to discuss redistricting

St. Landry Parish Council and School Board members are to hold a joint meeting at 6 p.m. Monday at the Delta Grand Theatre in Opelousas to discuss redistricting.
Aug. 12, census results were released showing the the parish population is 82,540.

On Friday, Ardoin’s Funeral Homes free barbecue plate lunches for all first-responders, as well as others who work to serve its community. Bill Wimberly, Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice manager said 200 plates were prepared.
