Eunice Police arrests

The following are arrests by Eunice Police. March 27 Jennifer Cormier, 36, 7400 block of Eunice Iota Highway, Eunice. Probation warrant. March 28 John Ortego, 38, 200 block of Wayne Road, Eunice. Probation violation, hold. March 30 Joseph Lemelle, 55, 500 block of East Oak, Eunice.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s arrests

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. March 27-29 Samantha Lewis-Malveaux, 31, 900 block of Pamella Street, Opelousas. Hold for Opelousas City Court. Arrested by Opelousas City Marshals.

Counterfeit $100 bills are circulating

The Eunice City Marshal’s Office is warning area businesses to be award of counterfeit currency. During a traffic stop this week, deputies with the Eunice City Marshal’s Office confiscated seven counterfeit $100 bills.
