Early voting continues Monday

Early voting continues Monday through Saturday at the Eunice City Hall, 300 S. 2nd St., for the March 20 election. Early voting is also scheduled at the St. Landry Parish Registrar of Voters office, 118 S. Court St., Suite 114, Opelousas. Early voting hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The following are arrests by Eunice Police. Juvenile, 17, Eunice. Illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile, aggravated battery. March 3 Marina Harris, 55, 1600 block of West Vine, Eunice. Theft less than $1,000. Chelsi L. Boone, 31, 200 block of North 8th Street, Eunice. Probation warrant.

Florence Olivier Manuel passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the age of 95. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
