Fire Marshal offers safety tips ahead of the New Year holiday

As another fireworks sales season begins, the State Fire Marshal’s Office (SFM) wants to encourage all Louisiana residents to not only be safe when using fireworks, but knowledgeable when buying them and prepared if considering attending a public fireworks display during this pandemic.

Edwards extends COVID mandates

Gov. John Bel Edwards extended his modified Phase Two order, including Louisiana’s statewide mask mandate, to Jan. 13 as hospitalizations have exceeded the level reached during the second surge in July.

EUNICE- It is with heavy hearts that the family of Everett E. Rheams announces his passing on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the Camelot Place of Crowley at the age of 65. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time. Everette had a great love for his family and for his network of friends.
