June 26
Graham Lawson Chelette, 31, 700 block of Landreneau Street, Washington. Domestic abuse battery, bench warrant. Arrested by Washington Police.
Sabrina Paige Darbonne, 23, 1100 block of Archie Road, Eunice.
A wreck involving three vehicles occurred at 9:46 a.m. Thursday at U.S. 190 and Martin Luther King Drive in Eunice. Eunice Police Officer Dane Wilson said a pickup truck driven by Marlon Guidry, of Eunice, ran a red light while southbound on Martin Luther King.

June 25
Cody J. Woodruff, 23, 100 block of Allison Loop, Eunice. Illegal carrying of weapon and possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon.
Valerie Anne Tweedel, 62, 100 block of Acadia Street, Eunice. Theft less than $1,000.

Louisiana House Republicans have revitalized a petition to overturn Gov. John Bel Edwards’ COVID-19 emergency declaration, seeking to end restrictions on businesses and churches meant to control the spread of the disease.

As of Thursday, the case count for COVID-19 in St. Landry Parish remained at 540 cumulative cases and 57 deaths, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.
The Department reported there have been 10,644 commercial tests and 540 state tests for the virus.
Another session of free COVID-19 tests will be offered Thursday at Eunice High School.
In the first round of drive-through free testing, 110 people were tested on June 18 at Eunice High School.
