Percy Mae Thibodeaux passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at the age of 90. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Quirk and Son Funeral Home Chapel of Eunice with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating. Burial will follow in Mt Calvary Cemetery.

Passenger killed, driver injured after high speed chase

After a trooper attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the driver refused to stop and a pursuit followed which ended in a fatal crash that claimed the life of the passenger, 33-year-old Kevin Arvie of Ville Platte shortly before 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
