Effie Roy Vidrine

Effie Roy Vidrine passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at the age of 94. No Services have been planned at this time. Effie is survived by one son, Ray Wood and wife Judy; two sisters, Clarice Quirk, Gwen Roy Ramsey; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

It is with great sadness that the family of James Allen “Bone” Dupre announces his passing on Wednesday, May 20 at 1:55 p.m. at Eunice Manor Nursing Home. He was 73. A celebration of life will be celebrated on Thursday, May 28 at 9 a.m. at Frank Brothers Funeral Home.

Free lunch for elderly at Southeast Center Restoring God’s Glory Ministries is providing free lunches for the elderly, veterans and disabled from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Southeast Neighborhood Center, at 101 City Avenue in Eunice. Delivery is available also.

Informatio sought in burglary of a Eunice residence

St. Landry Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a burglary that occurred in the 200 block of Prairie Street in Eunice. On March 25, deputies were dispatched to the residence where entry had been made through a window while the owners slept.
