Free lunch for elderly at Southeast Center Restoring God’s Glory Ministries is providing free lunches for the elderly, veterans and disabled from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Southeast Neighborhood Center, at 101 City Avenue in Eunice. Delivery is available also.

Eunice Police: 2 injured in shooting

Two people were injured in a shooting Saturday night on Townhome Drive, according to a news release from Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot. The news release follows. Eunice Police again responded to a call of shooting on Townhome Drive, The second time in a week.

A Mother's Day Parade at Eunice Manor

The Eunice City Marshals, Eunice Fire department trucks, Acadia and St. Landry Sheriff department, Eunice Police department, led hundreds of vehicles as they formed a line for a Mother’s Day Parade at Eunice Manor Nursing home Saturday morning.

ne United Way to allocate $138,690

St. Landry-Evangeline United Way will oversee distribution of federal funds made available through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). St. Landry Parish will be awarded $102,649, and Evangeline Parish will be awarded $36,041.
