Eunice City Court alters its operations due to coronavirus

The Eunice City Court is suspending its normal operations due to the COVID-19, according to a notice from Eunice City Judge Terry Hoychick. Normal operation to the pubic is suspended until April 6. Most sessions of the court through April 3 are cancelled and will be rescheduled.

Eunice City Hall offices closing, but staff available by phone

Beginning Wednesday, the following City of Eunice buildings were closed to the public: — The Eunice City Hall at 300 South 2nd Street. — The Eunice Library at South 2nd Street and Park Avenue. — The Depot Museum and the CFMA Hall of Fame on C.C. Duson Street (La. 13).

Parish school sites closed

All locations of the St. Landry School System including the Central Office, Pupil Appraisal Center, Head Start administrative building and school administrative offices were closed to the public beginning Wednesday. The .offices are scheduled to reopen on April 14.

Eunice Symphony Orchestra postponed The Eunice Symphony Orchestra, now in its 19th year, is gearing up for its concert, “Classics by Candlelight.” However with the conornavirus the orchestra made a decision to posposed the April concert to a later date.
