Parish Council to only pay its election bills

The St. Landry Parish Council Finance decided it will pay election costs directly associated with it, but other entities in the parish will have to pay their own bills.

More coronavirus surfaces in Louisiiana

Louisiana has two more presumptive positive cases of the coronavirus in the New Orleans area, bringing the total to three, Gov. John Bel Edwards announced Tuesday. The cases are presumptive until they are confirmed by the Centers for Disease Control.
