Blood drive to support plane crash victim A blood drive is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the St. Ann Catholic Church, 716 Sixth St., Mamou, in support Wade Berzas who was injured in the December plane crash in Lafayette. Call 337-470-2733 to schedule an appointment.

CDC study shows physical inactivity high among Louisiana adults

Maps released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show that Louisiana is one of seven states with the highest prevalence of physical inactivity among adults. The findings indicate that more than 15% of adults in every state are inactive.
