Eunice Police arrests

The following are arrests by Eunice Police. June 19 Takeiya Keiogta King, 24, 500 block of West Hiram Street, Opelousas. Theft less than $1,000, contributing to the delinquency of juveniles and possession of Schedule IV drugs Damien L. Chevis, 38, 900 block of East Laurent Street. Opelousas.

Farmers Market at DMV parking lot The Eunice Farmers’ Market is held in the DMV parking lot, and normally is open from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturdays. However, on the third Saturday of each month the market is joined by outside vendors and the market remains open until 3 p.m.
