Ochsner picked to operate Teche Regional Medical Center

Ochsner Health System is slated to become the new operator of Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City at the start of 2019. The St. Mary Parish Hospital Service District 2 Board held a special meeting Tuesday at the Morgan City Court Building.

DSAA Buddy Walk set for Oct. 27 The Down Syndrome Association of Acadiana will have its 14th annual Buddy Walk on Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Parc International, 200 Garfield Street, downtown Lafayette. Registration begins at 9 a.m. Cost is $15 per person.
