Betty Young Carrier

Betty Young Carrier passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at the age of 87. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.

St. Landry Parish priest faces abuse allegation

The Diocese of Lafayette state it was informed last week of an allegation of abuse of a minor by a priest, according to a news release from the diocese. The alleged incident occurred several years ago, and the alleged victim is now an adult.
