In Louisiana, our vehicles are reviewed as an extension of our home in many ways. Each time we leave our home, we lock the door and we need to also do the same for our vehicles. Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating multiple vehicle burglaries which occurred between May 16 to 19.

2 Opelousas teens arrested again for cruelty and theft of horses

The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry Livestock Brand Commission arrested two juveniles for a second time in connection with cruelty and theft of two horses. The horses, valued at $5,000 each, were reportedly stolen in the 100 block of Grapevine Road near Opelousas.
