The following are arrests by Eunice Police. June 15 Lynn Landreneau, 44, 1300 block of Faris Avenue, Eunice. Bench warrant for running a stop sign and speeding 25 mph zone over 20 mph. Mark Anthony Johnson, 37, 100 block of North 8th Street, Eunice. Theft of a barbecue pit.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office arrests

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. June 16 Jarrod D. Beard, 30, 1000 block of Hwy. 360, Palmetto. Two bench warrants; theft of goods.

IOTA~It is with great sadness that the family of August Sheldon Dietz announces his passing on June 14, 2017 at the Heart Hospital of Lafayette at the age of 68. A memorial service to honor the life and memory of August Dietz will be announced at a later date.
