The 39th Annual Crawfish Etouffee Cook-off will be held from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, March 28 at the Northwest Pavilion. The bands featured will include Cajun Fire, Leroy Thomas & The Zydeco Roadrunners and Swampland Revival. Free parking, free admission.

A Eunice man, Darrell Rigmaiden, died in an early Saturday morning house fire. On Saturday morning at 1:35 a.m. the Eunice Fire Department responded along with St. Landry District 6 to a reported working structure fire located at 250 Mill Street in Eunice.
