Fontenot dies at 81

Sharon Fontenot, 81, of Eunice, died Tuesday afternoon. Fontenot served as a Eunice City councilwoman from 1981 until 1990 under Mayor Curtis Joubert. Fontenot served as president of the Eunice Chamber of Commerce beginning in 1991 and thereafter for several years.
