St. Landry Parish school superintendent finalists selected

The St. Landry Parish School voted Wednesday to keep Milton Batiste III and Curt Green as their finalists for the superintendent job. The Board also set up a timeline for next steps in the selection process. Through May 3 a community survey will be on the Board’s website.

Wreck claims life of Eunice child

A two-vehicle crash on U.S. 190 near La. 103 on Wednesday claimed the life of 10-year-old Adalynn Good of Eunice, according to a news release from Louisiana State Police Troop I. State Police were notified of the crash at about 5:30 p.m.
