Armed robber in Rayne sought

The following information is a release for the media regarding information distributed by Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish. Rayne Police detectives are investigating an armed robbery which occurred at the People’s Credit Union, located at 904 E. Texas Ave. This incident occurred at about 1 p.m.

The engraved bricks for St. Landry Parish Veterans Memorial will go up in cost and slightly in size effective Aug. 1 at $100. The Memorial has: — 112 brick spaces available on the Military Walk-way; and — 204 brick spaces on the civilian walk-way located on the left side of the Monument.
