Solar farm ordinance approved in St. Landry Parish

The St. Landry Parish Council approved an ordinance establishing a permitting process for solar farms in the parish.
Parish President Jessie Bellard said NextEra Energy Resources has expressed an interest in establishing a solar farm in southeast St. Landry Parish.
