Fireworks legal in Eunice through July 5

Shooting fireworks in Eunice is legal from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. through July 5, according to Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot. The city does ban the use of bottle rockets also know as penny rockets. The city-sponsored fireworks displayed is scheduled at 9 p.m.
