Crash kills 2

CROWLEY – A twovehicle fatal crash at the intersection of La. 92 and La. 13 in Acadia Parish claimed the life of 40-yearold Nicole Marie Susak of Abbeville and 54-yearold of Mary Lemaire of Abbeville, according to a Louisiana State Police Troop I news release.

La. 757 to close

La. 757, three-tenths of a mile north of U.S. 190, in St Landry Parish will be closed at the railroad crossing on April 14 for railroad crossing repairs. The work is estimated to take place from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., weather permitting, according to state DOTD. The detour route will be La 3277 and U.

The following are arrests by Eunice Police. April 2 Curley Jerlondzo Pitre 26, 300 block of Fuselier Eunice. Simple criminal damage to property. April 3 David Edmundo Frank, 59, 700 block of East Vine, Eunice. Disturbing the peace, resisting an officer, simple assault, battery of a police officer.

Acadia Parish suffering 4-wheelers, dirt bikes, utility trailer thefts

Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives are receiving complaints parishwide of 4-wheeler, dirt bike and utility trailers thefts. One stolen 4-wheeler is described as a Honda 420 Rancher, red in color with a custom light bar, ITP mud tires and a manual shift.
