Yearlong escapee captured

Eunice Police have recaptured Andrew Morrison, aka Bumper, 47, of Eunice, who has been on the run since May of 2024 when he escaped custody while being treated at a local hospital. Eunice Police Chief Kyle LeBouef said police acted on Sunday from an anonymous tip on Morrison’s whereabouts.
