Melinda Joyce Chatman passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2023 at the age of 60. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Stacey Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

The deadline for “budding” and experienced photographers to submit their best photos for the LSU AgCenter’s 2025 Get It Growing calendar is rapidly approaching. The deadline for entries is March 31.
