Eunice native Leslie Turk honored as one of 11 Women Who Mean Business

Melancons honored as Acadia Parish Leaders in Philanthropy Award recipients

Community Foundation of Acadiana (CFA) and Hancock Whitney Bank announced the 2022 Leaders in Philanthropy Award honorees for Acadia Parish, Sandy and Wayne Melancon. The Melancons made their life together in Crowley and have remained pillars of the Acadia Parish community.

Local candidates had a chance to make their case at Eunice Chamber of Commerce political forum held Tuesday at LSUE. And, it was just in time for the seven races. Early voting for the Nov. 8 election begins Tuesday and continues through Nov. 1, excluding Oct. 30.
