The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. July 23-25 Terrance Wade McCullough, 33, 1700 block of W. Vine Street, Opelousas. No driver’s license, possession of Schedule I CDS, possession with intent to distribute Schedule I CDS. Arrested by Opelousas Police.

Donald Gene Young, Sr. passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022 at the age of 73. Graveside Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Southwest Louisiana Veteran’s Cemetery, 1620 Evangeline Road, Jennings, La 70546.

Mass for Charlene Richard set Aug. 11 The Charlene Richard Foundation announces the date of the annual Mass marking the 63rd Anniversary of the death of Charlene Marie Richard, Servant of God. The Mass will be offered at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11 at St. Edward Catholic Church in Richard.

James “Jimmy” Lee Bihm

James “Jimmy” Lee Bihm passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at the age of 73. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Thomas Bihm officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.

EUNICE–The family of Christiann West Stelly announces her passing on Friday, July 22, 2022, at the Acadian Medical Center at the age of 68. A Rosary and Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice with Father Ware officiating.
