Church Point man arrested for indecent behavior with juvenile

A 41-year-old Church Point man has been arrested for indecent behavior with a juvenile employee.
St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz said Brandt Robin, of the 300 block of Houston Richard Road, Church, was arrested Wednesday for indecent behavior with a juvenile.
Guidroz said received information on Wednesday from a juvenile employee complaining of being sexually harassed by the boss.
“According to the complaint, the harassment began about two weeks ago. Robin reportedly would have conversations about sex with the co-workers but then began questioning the juvenile complainant about his/her sex life. Robin made sexually explicit statements to the juvenile employee. The juvenile felt very uncomfortable around Robin and he/she decided to speak to his/her parents who then notified the sheriff’s office,” Guidroz stated in a news release.
“Detectives interviewed Robin and advised Robin of his rights, Robin stated he never touched the juvenile but admitted to saying inappropriate sexual comments to the juvenile. Robin was then arrested and transported to the parish jail for processing,” the news release stated.
Guidroz added, “The juvenile did the right thing, when feeling uneasy about inappropriate sexual comments made towards them, the juvenile reported it to his/her parents.”
