June 30
Andy James Smith, 58, 900 block of Highway 749, Opelousas. Bench warrant. Arrested by St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Victor Vallaire, 26, 700 block of N. Jake Street, Lake Charles. Notification of sex offenders and child predators, failure to register and notify as a sex offender or child predator. Arrested by St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Woman accused of theft from Eunice employer

A 40-year-old woman is accused of stealing $45,012.27 from a Eunice business.
Raegan Germaine Berard, of the 300 block of Arceneaux Circle, Scott, was arrested on June 5 and charged with three counts of theft and four counts of access device fraud, according to Sheriff Bobby Guidroz in a news release.
On Dec. 30, 2019, the owners filed a complaint for theft with the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Opelousas men linked to ATV thefts in Eunice area

Two Opelousas men have been arrested and each charged with seven felony theft counts involving the theft of four-wheelers many in the Eunice area.
Several complaints of four-wheeler thefts along La. 758 in the Eunice area were received on June 3, according to a news release from Sheriff Bobby Guidroz.
Guidroz identified those arrested as Trudareyian Andrus, 22, 400 block of East Jefferson Street, Opelousas; and Phillip Washington Jr., 22, 1500 block of Pujo Street, Opelousas.
Bail was set at $5,000 for each man.

May 15
Shamika A. Vallian, 41, 600 block of MLK Drive, Opelousas. Violation of proclamation of state of emergency, possession with intent to distribute Schedule I. Arrested by Opelousas Police.
Jeremy K. Winfield, 27, 100 block of Leger Drive, Opelousas. Two bench warrants, improper parking, expired MVI, possession with intent to distribute Schedule I. Arrested by Opelousas Police.
