John Bennett Ortego, 38, 200 block of Wayne Road, Eunice. Littering, possession of Schedule I CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia. Arrested by Louisiana State Police.

Daveon Josiah Finley, 25, is being sought by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office and St. Landry Crime Stoppers.
Finley is wanted for attempted second-degree murder, according to a news release from St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz.

A shooting in the 200 block of Gulino Street in Opelousas at about 1:30 a.m. today claimed the life of a 16-year-old male, according to St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz.
