Men accused of raping girl

Two men have been charged with detaining two sisters and raping the younger one, according to a news release from St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz.
Peyton Charles Vidrine, 19, of the 200 block of Safe Haven Drive, Carencro, is charged with second-degree rape, indecent behavior with a juvenile and two counts of false imprisonment.
Karter Charles Bacque, 24, of the 3100 block of Church Road, Port Barre, is charged with second-degree rape and two counts of false imprisonment.
The news release stated that on March 14, a juvenile under the age of 17 years of age reported to St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives that she went to the residence of Bacque, accompanied by her juvenile sister under the age of 18. Upon arrival, the juveniles were met by both Bacque and Vidrine. Both juveniles were allegedly forced to remain inside a small trailer located on the residence property.”
It was determined that the juvenile under 17 years of age was forcibly restrained while both Bacque, and Vidrine had sexual intercourse with her, Guidroz stated. Additionally, it is alleged, Vidrine forced the juvenile to perform inappropriate acts, it stated.
The juvenile under 18 years of age was forced to remain inside the room as these acts were being performed. When the opportunity arose, the juvenile was able to unlock the door and escape to get help for the younger juvenile.
Bacque and Vidrine were booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail. Bacque’s bail was set at $100,000 and Vidrine’s bail was set at $120,000.
