A Reserve Officer Training Program with the Eunice Police Department was recently held those who completed the course were presented with certificates of completion. Other Reserve officers are in the process of completing the classes and some reserve officers had attended a reserve training academy in other jurisdictions in prior years. This was the first Reserve Officer training Program held in Eunice by the Eunice Police Department. Officers were certified in the use of defensive tactics and weapons, received training in traffic enforcement, first Aid/CPR, Report writing, criminal patrol and many other areas of law enforcement.
