The 33rd annual Eunice World Championship Louisiana Crawfish Etoufeé Cook-off is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the Northwest Pavilion on Samuel Drive.
Winners will be announced at 3:30 p.m. and in between that time is crawfish étouffee´ that will rock the palate.
This year’s Cook-off features an exceptional lineup of bands that start at 10 a.m. They are:
– 10 to 11:30 a.m., Seth Spell and Cajun Strong
– Noon to 1:30 p.m., Kyle Huval & Dixie Club Ramblers
– 2 to 3:30 p.m., The Band Courtbouillon with Wayne Toups, Steve Riley and Wilson Savoy.
Free admission, no ice chests.
There will be a karate demonstration.
There will be other food items sold besides crawfish.
The Eunice Chamber of Commerce will sell soda and beer.
There will be many arts and crafts vendors selling handmade arts and crafts, wood products, jewelry, clothing, jellies, jams, hot sauce and much more.
