Starting Monday Highland Elementary will be a site for the St. Landry Parish School Board Child Nutrition Department’s Summer Food Service Program.
The program is offered free to any child 18 years and younger.
Hot meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, religious creed, disability, age, political beliefs, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity.
Meals will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.
The program is held weekdays through June 29. The Highland Elementary site is open from 11:30 a.m. to noon.
