Myron Guillory has announced his candidacy for District 11 St. Landry Parish School Board member i the Nov. 6 election.
Guillory’s announcement includes the following.
I have served for 15 years with the Lawtell Head Start Program, 30 years of dedicated service to the St. Landry Parish Public School System along with 33 years of service to the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s office and the citizens of this community.
I have lived and worked in District 11 all my life. I am married to Veralyn Biagas-Guillory for 43 years. We are the parents to Michelle Guillory and Marlana Guillory-Embry and grandparents to Westley and Avia Embry. I serve as usher and a member of New Life Assembly of God church. I am a 1972 graduate of Eunice High School and 1987 graduate of the USL Police Academy.
