Eunice High held their first Bash and Splash Monday to reward high school students with a 3.0 or higher GPA, less than 10 unexcused absences and zero writeups. The event included water slides, inflatable bull riding, water balloons, sno-cones and cotton candy.
“We wanted to come together and have something for the kids to reward them for really working hard all year long,” said event coordinator Jeanne Elfert, “as well as give them incentive for next year. We already have students saying they want to attend the next one.”
