Joy Burke Cleveland

Joy Burke Cleveland passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020 at the age of 71. No Services have been planned at this time. Joy was a Cajun fiddler who was on the Board of Directors of the CFMA. She was also the leader of the band called “Bayou de Caines Band”.

Michael Bari, 58, former LSU Eunice women’s basketball coach, passed away on May 14, 2020, at CRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria due to complications from the coronavirus.

Larry Mills

Larry Mills passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at the age of 83. No services have been planned at this time. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Louviere Mills; one son, Boyd “Chip” Mills, two step daughters, LaDonna Froman, Talli Froman; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Kinney Francois passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at the age of 85. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel of Eunice with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating. Burial will follow in St Paul Cemetery.

EUNICE-It is with heavy hearts that the family of Miguel Carrillo Perez, 73, of Eunice, announces his passing on Friday, May 8, 2020 at the Acadian Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at Guillory Cemetery on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 11 a.m. with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.

Paul Andrew Ward

Paul Andrew Ward passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at the age of 41. No Services have been planned at this time. Paul was a retired military Veteran who served in the U.S. Army. He loved his brothers and sisters-in-arms.

Dave Joshua Peres passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at the age of 33. A Private Family Service (due to current COVID-19 restrictions of 10 people or less) will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Unity Church of Lawtell with Pastor Gregory Gaspard officiating.

EUNICE~Our mom passed away on Thursday, May 07, 2020, in the comfort of her home with her loving family by her side at the age of 97. A Private Graveside Service will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Wayne Duet officiating. Rena retired from banking after twenty eight years.
