Betty Jean Marcantel, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025, in Basile, Louisiana at the age of 81.

Leonard “Lenny” James Jenkins passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at the age of 61. A Cremation will follow, with interment of his ashes in Basile Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
